PHP IDE – EasyEclipse for PHP

EasyEclipse packages together Eclipse, the open-source software development platform, and selected open source plugins. This compilation is selected, assembled, tested, patched, built installers and documented
a full IDE, offered as reliable distributions and plugins.

EasyEclipse is:
  • Free and open-source,
  • Easy to download and install, and
  • Simple to maintain, without version and dependency issues.
It has PHPEclipse (a PHP plugins for Eclipse IDE) has come out with a new version 1.1.8. The cool thing with this update is the Outline Viewer or Object Navigator or what ever u like to call it. (Enlarge the picture to see the screenshot).

It's very useful to me as I'm developing codes with lots of object and methods inside the object. Previously I had to browse to the codes to find the right method/function to modify. Luckily from today on, I just click the function/method name inside the outline viewer and it will jump to the right function in the code editor. Thank you guys at the phpeclipse.org for providing such a time saver tools.

Simple search – result appears in the same page

This PHP code is a simple search example. Filter setting in new AdMob panel

The new AdMob interface was launched last week (I was invited on early May 2014). The transition was smooth however from my experience I lost all my account balance in the old interface. One thing I do not like with the new apps is, it do not want to support PayPal payment. (Update – later I found out that the new AdMob facility provide direct wired-transfer to you favorite local banks. Just provide your account number and bank SWIFT-BIC and wait till your balance achieve the threshold value. This is normally a three day compared to two weeks PayPal transfer.You can change this in the Account > Payments > Payment Settings )  I have not figured out how to channel my commission payment to my local bank account. The thing I’d like to elaborate is the ads filtering panel. After you have logged-in to the new system (at https://apps.admob.com/ ), find the Account panel on the top-right of the page.
