Google Chrome - a web browser from Google

I spotted a free browser from Google, called CHROME. The browser was launch just a few days back. Download from http://www.google.com/chrome... Believe me the download is significantly fast.

What I like most is the simple and neat interface. I notice that it does download faster than Firefox. Most of the time Firefox does consume too much of my computer memory, but it appears that Chrome does a whole lot better in memory consumption. Scott McCloud (US Comic Artist) has drawn a comic (http://www.google. com/googlebooks/ chrome/) to explain about what Chrome is and how it differs from your standard web browser. It's best viewed in Chrome due to its funky blue colour scheme, and also best avoided by those who find tech-talk boring!

I can can also create a shortcut application for my GMail (refer here on how to do it). For searching, just key-in anything in the address bar and press enter. The default search engine is off course none other than Google.com.

However Chrome lack of plug-ins and themes (maybe they'll developed plug-ins and theme later, hopefully), and Mac and Linux users, pls be patient because the version for those OS's will be around later. Overall, I give chrome 8 upon 10.

Wanna know the tips n tricks of using Chrome for power user, read here http://lifehacker.com/5045904/the-power-users-guide-to-google-chrome ...
