Joomla merupakan salah satu CMS terpopular ketika ini. Dengan ciri yang mudah untuk digunakan oleh pelbagai tahap pengguna, ia menjadi pilihan kebanyakan pembangun laman. Namun aspek keselamatan sering diabaikan oleh kebanyakan pembangun laman web.

Justeru, kursus ini diwujudkan bagi membantu menyelesaikan masalah keselamatan pada laman web Joomla. Bagi kursus ini, server yang akan digunakan ialah Linux Centos 6, dan sudah tentu, para peserta perlu mempunyai asas penggunaan Joomla.
