Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Firmware Update (Official)

To know whether the update is available or not, please go to Settings –> About Phone –> Update

Through this installation process, I’m using DDMS to capture the screenshots. Anyway, not all of the time the tablet connected to DDMS, so I also need a camera (am using my Samsung Galaxy S to capture screenshots).

Downloading upgrade files.

Finish download, and install upgrade.

After this, the system will reboot itself.

Installing… Beyond this point, your tablet will not be connected to DDMS.

This process took quite sometime to finish (20 minutes.

    The fact that this update brought a big problem - toooooooo long battery charging. Even one whole night charging only charge half of the battery.... Loooooooousy....

      I figured out the real problem of the charging problem, it's not because of the software. Read similar issues on another blog, they suggested to change the cable. I did change the cable and currently there's no more charging issue.

    How can that be? Are you sure that your battery works alright? I need only about 3.5-4 hour sto charge mine completely. You may visit here in order to get some help. Hope it helps.

    Still waiting for the Official OTA firmware upgrade Android 4.0 from Samsung to arrive in Malaysia... Sigh...

    Salam Khairul, saya dah tersilap update Cyanogen 9 untuk Tab 10.1 saya, tapi x boleh boot. Boleh tolong X untuk recover yg ori balik. Bila nak recover dia cakap x jumpa directory

    The official ICS update for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been released in Malaysia. Check your tablet settings -> About Device -> Software Update -> Update. Have fun...

    Saya dah semak yng Ics dah released kat malaysia. Tp bila update..... Adakah semua data yng ada dlm tab akan hilang.....

      Fail2 lama, gambar, user settings, dan apps yang puan dah download tak hilang kalu update ke versi ICS.
