1. Right click on WIFI icon on the bottom-right (taskbar).

2. Choose Open Network Sharing Center

3. Right-click on WIFI and choose Properties

4. Scroll for IPv4 (or IPv6 depending on your network setup). Double click Internet Protocol Version (TCP/IPv4)

5. Choose Obtain an IP address automatically if you are in DHCP environment.

6. Choose Use the following IP address if you’d like to assign your IP statically . Then click OK and apply.
