Penggambaran 1000 Cipta di KUIS

Pada Khamis, 11 Ogos 2011 yang lepas, mDictionary diberi penghargaan untuk muncul dalam rancangan 1000 Cipta terbitan tvi, RTM (Astro 180). Program 1000 Cipta merupakan rancangan berbentuk majalah yang memaparkan perekacipta dan rekaan tempatan.

Untuk slot perekacipta di IPTA/S, 1000 Cipta telah memilih KUIS sebagai salah satu lokasi. Kami telah memutuskan mDictionary untuk diketengahkan sebagai hasil usahasama pensyarah dan pelajar FSTM, KUIS.

Penggambaran dijalankan di Makmal Komputer 11 di bangunan Akademi Islam dan juga di Studio Rakaman Suara di MK5, Fakulti Sains dan Teknologi Informasi.

Penggambaran meliputi proses-proses yang terlibat di dalam pembangunan mDictionary, Bermula daripada proses penjanaan idea, pembangunan prototaip, edit gambar, rakaman suara sebutan perkataan dan juga pengintegrasian semua elemen multimedia yang terlibat.

Antara sebab utama aplikasi mDictionary terpilih sebagai salah satu produk yang dipaparkan dalam 1000 Cipta ialah kerana kejayaan produk itu mendapat pengiktirafan beberapa pameran inovasi dan teknologi. Projek mDictionary telah memenangi dua (2) pingat emas di Pameran Antarabangsa Inovasi dan Teknologi (ITEX, Mei 2010), dan juga di i-Inova 2010 (Ekspo Inovasi Islam USIM, September 2010) disamping beberapa pengiktirafan lain.

mDictionary adalah satu aplikasi kamus mobil yang dibangunkan oleh FSTM, KUIS. Kelebihan kamus ini adalah ia boleh dipasang (install) di telefon bimbit anda (setakat ini untuk platfom Android sahaja).
