Tim iMap berjaya terpilih untuk gran ICONapps 2011

Alhamdulillah, Tim iMap yang diketuai oleh Abdurrahman Jalil telah dipilih sebagai salah satu kumpulan yang akan menerima gran latihan dan pembangunan ICONAPPS 2011 yang ditaja oleh MDec. Tim ini terdiri daripada lima orang pensyarah Fakulti Sains dan Teknologi Maklumat, KUIS iaitu Abdurrahman Jalil, Khairil Asyraf, Helmy Emran Abdul Halim Othman dan Khirulnizam Abd Rahman (laporan pembentangan Tim iMap di sini).

Satu lagi kumpulan iaitu Tim Jawi Wordbuilder (iOS) juga berjaya mendapatkan dana ICONapps. Mereka terdiri daripada Nurhanna Abdul Aziz, Nur Erlida Ruslan dan Norazian Masiron.

Tahniah kepada kedua-dua kumpulan. Selepas ini beberapa ahli daripada kumpulan tersebut akan menghadiri bengkel latihan masing-masing untuk Android dan Apple iOS  (yang ditaja oleh ICONapps). Seterusnya kami perlu menyiapkan aplikasi-aplikasi yang telah dibentangkan sebelum ini dan memasarkannya. Pemasaran akan dilakukan masing-masing di Android Market dan Apple AppStore. Aplikasi mesti siap sebelum akhir tahun ini. Peruntukan kewangan daripada dana ICONapps hanya boleh diperolehi selepas aplikasi tersebut berada dalam pasaran.

*Untuk pengetahuan anda semua ICONapps adalah satu program latihan dan pembangunan yang dianjurkan oleh MDeC untuk melatih warga Malaysia yang berminat untuk menceburi bidang pembangunan aplikasi untuk telefon pintar. Buat masa ini program latihan tersebut tertumpu kepada aplikasi untuk platform Android dan Apple iOS.
