icon_winner_edublog_upsi_2013
The first time I heard the news, I was kind of laughing in disbelieve. It was quite sometime when I filled up the competition form. And yesterday the organizer called me to tell me the news personally. blog.kerul.net was selected as the 3rd place winner of the Open Category. Anyway, am quite happy frankly.

Later after 13 Nov I'll update this post. I don't know what is the prize. Some sort electronic gadget, I guess. I don’t care much about the prize, just feelin some sort of satisfaction. Coz at-last someone recognise the blog, after several hundred posts, since 2005…

The list of winners is here  http://ict.upsi.edu.my/index.php/pemenang-2013 , and ironically the links are not clickable - coz there are all in image form, not text!

Mr Chang is an Art Education schoolteacher and also an author of Visual Art Education and computer graphics books. His art work are impressive yet produced with a simple tool - Microsoft Word.

3rd: us - blog.kerul.net
This 3rd place is ours. ;-p... The blog contains more of programming samples, tutorials, tips and tricks on programming. What programming? How on earth suddenly people blog on programming? It has decent design (simplicity is the new beauty), yet the blog has so much content to offer which starts from 2005.

Multimedia Dictionary app for Android – with Source codes

I decided to publish the following source code of a Multimedia Dictionary app for Android. The apps is a dictionary of the following languages, Malay, Arabic and English. All the word entries are available in the locally (sqlite), however we do not have the complete word list. This code is specifically designed to support only Android 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3. This is due to lack of Arabic character support in the listed Android version. And there ‘s a special treatment to the Arabic characters which we found quite complicated. It won’t run beautifully on the Android 3.0 and above. Sorry for the lack of documentation, however if you’re familiar with Java in Android, it actually simple. I’ll do further documentation later. You may somehow revamp the apps, or do what ever you want. I would like to However make only one request, please do not remove the advertisement in the main screen. To test the Arabic input, you need to have the Arabic keyboard – use this http://bit.ly/ask1-1 . Not sure with...
