My favourite book shop is MPH Mid Valley. There're a lot of latest IT books at reasonable price. Travelling to Mid Valley by car is a horrible experience since I have to face a stream of cars moving bumper to bumper along the Federal Highway. Parking is also hard to find plus the expensive fee. Train is the cheaper alternative of transportation, although I found it very crampy especially in the peak hours and weekend. The train schedule is always unreliable and it's a boring journey if you forgot to bring reading materials. Luckily,  now I have my smartphone equipped with blog writer apps. The two major blog hosting providers, blogger.com and wordpress.com , have published official apps for their mobile blog writer respectively. For Android platform, both apps are available for free at the Android Market. I’ve long dream my own domain name for my blog in kerul.blogspot.com . Too much time, energy and thought have been spent to the blog . Now it’s available at blog.kerul.net .The decision to use kerul.net is to maintain the name kerul as in the kerul.blogspot.com . I believe I have fought and promoted this brand in the Web for so long since I have my first Hotmail account during my first degree around 1997. So now, kerul.blogspot.com is also accessible by the domain name kerul.net (vice versa). Google facilitate this domain name migration by allowing their client to keep the previous blog address. kerul.net <-> kerul.blogspot.com These are the steps to customise your domain name for your blog in blogger.com. 1. WordPress.org is a free blogging system. It is one of the most popular CMS that focuses on managing your blog posts. While WPTouch is a plugin for mobile theme (touch) to Wordpress.org. It’s available freely from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wptouch/ . And there’s also the Pro Version which available from https://www.bravenewcode.com/store/plugins/wptouch-pro/ . It automatically detect your mobile browser and transforms your WordPress blog into an iPhone application-style theme, complete with Ajax loading articles and effects, when viewed from iPhone, iPod touch, Android, Palm Pre, Samsung touch and BlackBerry Storm/Torch mobile devices. I would like to share my experience in installing WPTouch using the old FTP way. There is another easy way, which is through the Plugins panel. Just add a new plugins, and provide the FTP information. I could not do the easier because my web server does not support the FTP from the browser. I  envied the mobile version of wordpress.com , now not anymore. Last week blogspot answered my request by providing mobile version view for kerul.blogspot.com . Why this feature is important? Well, obviously it’s because of the smartphones’ “big bang”! With the advance phone features, and still expensive data transfer rate, providing simple and fast website is crucial.
